Sustainable garments are getting more and more attention every day. With such attention comes greater developments. Some of the biggest companies of the fashion industry are taking responsibility in spreading information about sustainability. Their aim is to create a better future, through more sustainable production.

Next Gen in Sustainability

Denim has always held a major part in the fashion industry. That’s why it has become a subject of sustainability. Companies manufacturing jeans joined forces to create more sustainable jeans, and they are getting better results each and every day. Incredible progressions have been made to promote the usage of recycled cotton, water saving washing techniques, lower-impact-on-nature yarns and even cotton-free ones.

The key in sustainability is to make sure that the jeans life cycle is circular. Sustainability starts from production, and today, we know more about its journey. Well, for the first time in its history, companies share the life cycle of their products openly including materials used as well as the impact of their production on nature.

There is always a way to do things better. Companies started not only to promote and follow sustainability rules, but also have been looking for ways to do more, creating new roadmaps to follow each day. They have been challenging one another on this matter, in the best possible way.

Sustainability does not have to mean that we have to give up on fashion. In fact, today, the idea of sustainability reminds us to protect nature and promotes nature friendly products in fashion more than ever. Hope to move forward together to a sustainable future that both humanity and nature needs…
